STRATEGY & TEAM BUILDING CONSULTING

strategy:

Strategy is one of my favorite things. I love to plan (and execute). It is so exciting to lay out a schedule, a budget, goals, intentions and vision. I find it to be an inspiring and joyful part of any design or construction project. I take great pleasure in figuring out what all the parties desire, what boundaries there are, what is realistic and what is not - and I am proficient at delivering undesirable news (budget is too low, schedule is too tight, plan doesn’t work). I am a great communicator and I am always honest, which leads to a lot of trust and collaboration during projects. I excelled at planning while working on large NYC construction sites, considering all the priorities, timelines, various goals and realities and combining them into a schedule that everyone happily agreed to. While working in the wellness industry on brick-and-mortar roll-outs, strategy was paramount as the start-up had ambitious goals and we were scouting real estate in multiple locations while designing and permitting in others all while simultaneously building multiple projects - spread out over the world! It was quite a challenge to keep this multi-headed machine moving in the correct direction while staying on budget, on schedule and keeping investors happy, but it was a challenge I gladly accepted and proudly accomplished.

(Stats: All of this happened ver the span of 18 months! I designed 14 psychedelic therapy clinics and managed 16 build-outs, along with consulting on FF&E for six clinics and consulting on real estate opportunities for additional psychedelic clinics in cities across the country and world)

team building:

Team Building is a newer passion of mine. As Head of Architecture and Construction for Field Trip Health, I built out a team of 6 internal employees/freelancers to aid in the design, build-out and fit-out of multiple wellness clinics across the US, Canada and Europe. On top of that I was solely responsible for building (and managing) the external design and construction teams for multiple projects simultaneously across the US, Canada and Europe. This was exciting to me as I was able to proof and prove my communication, problem-solving, integrity and compassion. It was exciting and rewarding to quickly and efficiently build teams that not only worked, but worked well. I look forward to continuing this journey of team building and bringing my unique perspective on who is ‘right’ for the job into new ventures.
