sunline studio, founded in 2018 by Jen McKelvie, is a small, international consulting firm focused on the built environment. Jen has over a decade and a half of experience in high-end design, construction, Owner’s Representation, Project Management, real-estate development and brick and mortar roll out. Her diverse interests in luxury residential, the wellness / psychedelic therapy clinical space and real estate / land development all come together under the studio’s mission to use architectural, spatial and environmental design to heal, balance and ground humans in the spaces they use, work, live in and experience.
Jen, via sunline studio, has extensive experience in the psychedelic clinical space, acting as Owner’s Representation and Head of Architecture and Construction for a world leader in the psychedelic assisted psychotherapy space. Over the span of 18 months, Jen designed 14 clinics for the company and managed 16 builds across The US, Canada and Europe. Along with consulting on FF&E for six clinics and consulting on real estate opportunities in cities across the country and world, Jen was highly instrumental in bringing the company’s vision to life. Without a doubt, Jen is a leader in the field of architectural set and setting for psychedelic therapy clinical spaces.
The studio’s focus is on efficiency, integrity and empowering clients to pursue high design and construction within a conscientious schedule and budget. The studio is intentionally organized to work effectively and efficiently in a remote capacity; offering the ability to seamlessly work from anywhere. Jen, the founder of sunline, frequently travels across the world for project consultation services.
sunline offers consulting services geared toward many aspects of the Architecture and construction world, from real estate to design, branding to peer reveiw. Please see “Offerings’ for additional information.
Jen gravitates toward working with freethinkers, who, like her, live and think outside the box.
Jen McKelvie, LEED AP, graduated with honors from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate degree (Master of Architecture). After university, she moved to Vail, Colorado where she worked on luxury residential and high-end multi-family projects in the capacity of designer and Project Manager. After moving to New York City, she designed and Project Managed for a few Architectural firms before migrating to construction. She loves both sides of the process - design and construction management as she excels at communication, efficiency, design and problem solving. Jen is constantly learning and has recently taken an interest in land development. She approaches everything from a heart centered place, with the end goal of beauty, health and healing for all who interact with her spaces.
Jen has spent large portions of her life traveling, currently her favorite places are Western Australia, Tbilisi, Georgia, Mongolia and Southern Patagonia. She is always inspired by the design, architecture and ways of life she experiences on her travels and she brings this curiosity and open mind to her designs and consulting practice.
Projects Jen has had the pleasure of collaborating on have been featured in multiple publications including the New York Times, National Geographic and Curbed.
